Team Germany Shines at the International NFL Flag Championships

A Strong Performance in Orlando
From January 31 to February 2, the U12 flag football team from Munich's Erasmus-Grasser-Gymnasium represented Germany at the International NFL Flag Championships. Competing against 12 teams from around the world, the mixed team of boys and girls reached the round of 16, delivering a stellar performance. The tournament concluded with Team Canada defeating Team Japan 32-0 to claim the championship title.

Building Friendships Beyond the Field
Highlighting the spirit of international friendship, Team Germany brought friendship bracelets to Orlando, distributing them to players from other nations. This thoughtful gesture not only brought smiles but also symbolized unity and sportsmanship beyond the field. The championships ran alongside the NFL Pro Bowl Games, where the NFC team triumphed over the AFC team 76-63 in a thrilling flag football match.
