Carolina Panthers Thrill Kids at Flag Football Training Camp in Munich
Training with the NFL stars of the Panthers attracts many youth players from the Munich region
Supported by several team coaches from the Panthers, the training, co-organized by the Munich Ravens and Munich Rangers, offered participants the chance to learn from Offensive Tackle Ickey Ekwonu and Safety Sam Franklin Jr. and experience the excitement of American football. Some players from the Munich Ravens, including Luca Salvo and Tomiwa Oyemo, also participated, teaching young athletes essential game fundamentals.
During the two-hour training session, the highly motivated camp participants tried various stations. A diverse circuit training challenged the children and teenagers, who wore jerseys of the New York Jets, Carolina Panthers, and Miami Dolphins. Jerseys of local teams from Munich and Fürstenfeldbruck were also plentiful. After the training, Left Tackle Ekwonu and Safety Franklin Jr. took ample time to fulfill every autograph request at Sportpark Freiham.

Further Activities of the Keep Pounding Tour
The day after the training camp, the Panthers visited the Allianz Arena, the venue for the upcoming NFL game in November against the New York Giants. On Wednesday, they participated in a Pep Rally at Daimler Truck in Leinfelden-Echterdingen, where hundreds of employees seized the opportunity to meet the players and get autographs. The week concluded with another Flag Football training session at the Grafenwöhr military base.
Through these events, the Panthers strengthen their brand in Germany and expand their international fan base. The team from North Carolina demonstrates the importance of their Keep Pounding Tour with such actions.
